Cllients often report feeling much better after entering counseling, since they are able to analyze their life stresses and begin to make a plan for coping with the issues that may have plagued them for years.

Those clients with short-term crises are often treated with 10 sessions or fewer, as they devise new ways of coping with their life stress.
